The Graduate! Whoo Hoo!

"Where's my diploma?"

Welcome to the party!

Rob the Graduate!

So Rob's graduation from Southern Nazarene University was a success and a momentous occasion. Happy tears flowed along with laughter as we celebrated Mr. Robert Bruce Sherrill. He was a bit unnerved by all the attention, but was a good sport throughout the whole day. We had lots of friends and family over afterwards as we partied, ate yummy Mexican, conversed and had a fabulous time. Some pictures are below.

Go, Rob! :)

Busy, busy life!

Wow, what a last week. We've had several tornadoes here, a good friend lost her father-in-law unexpectedly, Rob picked up his cap and gown for graduation, we're finalizing everything for the graduation day, grad party & company coming in, and work has been a zoo. Whew! We've barely had time to breathe.

I have to say that our friend losing her family member has made me so grateful for the littlest of things. Rob and I know we love each other and tell each other often, but how often do we tell you all, our loved ones and family? Well, with that said, we love all of you and we're grateful to have you in our lives. Our lives are better because you're in them.

For those of you that are mothers, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Here's to a great week! Remember to think of Rob when he becomes a college graduate on Saturday! And if you can, we'd love it if you'd remember to lift up our friends, the Girouxs, in prayer during this sad time.

Quick Friday update

Hey all,

So my next doctor's appt is on Monday, and then the one after that is the BIG one. We can't wait! We're excited to be able to announce if the little Sherrill will be a boy or a girl. We have names picked out, and if you haven't heard them, just ask away. Regarding themes, we're thinking either something butterfly-ish (if you know Natalie, you know she LOVES butterflies!) or something Noah's Ark or Sports-themed. But of course, that could all change. Rob's parents are coming in soon, so we'll go shopping then and see if we get an idea on other themes we like.

Speaking of next month, I'm very proud to announce that Rob is getting his Bachelor's degree from Southern Nazarene University. Go, Rob! I'll post pictures, don't worry. (We just hope the people can all fit into our home for the party!)

So we've been missing all of you who are in Colorado Springs and know that we're trying to come and visit soon. And don't forget that you're always welcome here. Although, in the Springtime it's a little scary at times. Last night there were more tornadoes and major thunder storms here. It was very intense. And part of our fence blew down because of the horrific winds. Such fun!

Have a blessed (or hope you had) weekend!
